Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 36 months of Obstetrics and Gynecology experience.

• Certificate completion required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local&travel allowed. Candidates living<60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• No current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - UNC Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Three (3) years of experience performing complex OB/GYN or vascular scans.

Required Credentials: Completion of a twelve (12) month program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography / General Ultrasound or equivalent certificate program is required. Fetal echo certification required. Must be ARDMS registered in OB and OB/GYN.

Unit Details: Performs maternal-fetal ultrasound examinations including detailed anatomical evaluation, complete fetal echocardiogram, growth assessment, fetal wellbeing assessment, biophysical profiles, maternal/fetal Doppler, amniotic fluid assessments, needle procedure guidance, maternal pelvic anatomy evaluation including transvaginal cervical assessment, and advanced diagnostic 3D/4D techniques. Assists the supervising physician with invasive procedures, provides training to residents regarding these exams, and communicates preliminary diagnostic findings to the radiologist and referring OB provider.

Shift&Scheduling: Mon-Thu. No call. No weekends. No holidays.
