Job Summary:
The healthcare professional specializing as a Surgical Technician (Surgical Tech) in Madison, Wisconsin, will support laboratory delivery services within a trauma center. The role involves providing clinical expertise in the operating room, working 12-hour shifts on days, and may require floating within the same discipline across local facilities. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

- Required Qualifications: Certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) and a National Surgical Tech Certificate (NCCT/NBSTSA). Experience includes previous obstetrics and gynecology (OBGYN) experience, three years of CST for Labor Delivery (LD) experience, travel experience, and Epic electronic health record (EHR) system proficiency. Candidates must have a valid driver's license, a work history/resume, a skills checklist completed within one year, one supervisory reference, license verification, and a copy of certifications. Candidate must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in obstetrics and gynecology, three years of CST LD experience, travel experience, and Epic system experience.
- Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, every other weekend including holiday rotation.
- Additional Information: The CST is for Labor Delivery only. Previous OBGYN experience and three years of CST LD experience are required. The candidate must have a BLS and a National Surgical Tech Certificate (NCCT/NBSTSA). The candidate must not have been an employee of the organization within the last 12 months.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
