Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General (OBGYN) position available in Marietta, Georgia. The role involves performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations, particularly within obstetrics and gynecology. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers day shift hours and requires the ability to work five days a week from Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Job Details:
- Location: Marietta, Georgia
- Schedule: Day shift, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: All certifications are required upon hire, including ARDMS - Registered Medical Sonographer and ARRT-S - ARRT Sonography, BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - American Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor. A successful completion of a Sonography Training Program and minimum 1 year of clinical experience are required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Samsung ultrasound units, Epic knowledge, and familiarity with obstetrics and gynecology ultrasound procedures.
- Additional Information: Candidate must possess excellent communication, customer service, and multitasking skills. The ability to work independently under pressure, follow hospital policies, and demonstrate dependability and cooperation are essential. The role involves performing a variety of technical procedures with independent judgment, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging.
- Certifications and Licenses: ARDMS - Registered Medical Sonographer, ARRT-S - ARRT Sonography, BLS - Basic Life Support or equivalent
- Equipment & Experience: Ability to operate ultrasound equipment competently, including understanding anatomy and pathology, with experience using Samsung units preferred.
