Job Summary:
The Ultrasound Technologist position is located in Reno, Nevada. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role involves performing complex diagnostic ultrasound procedures, with a focus on general ultrasound modalities. The position demands proficiency in operating ultrasonic imaging units and adhering to established protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Location: Reno, Nevada
- Specialty: Ultrasonographer General
- Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, varied shifts, no call, with minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Minimum two-year clinical experience in the respective department. Experience in obstetrics and gynecology (OBGYN) and breast imaging preferred. Certifications include CPR certification upon hire and American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS). Education requirements align with license requirements. Experience in the specific modalities is highly preferred.
- Additional Information: Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level. The candidate will be required to pick up one additional shift during the schedule period. The healthcare provider reserves the right to call off, without penalty, 48 hours in advance for low census during a 13-week contract. Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts.
